About the Position
Opportunity

Canada Camp Jobs Analysis
Prep cook is a good starting role if you want kitchen experience without the pressure of running a line — the work is repetitive but straightforward, and a Food Safety Certificate plus some kitchen background is enough to get in. It's a reasonable stepping stone toward Line Cook or First Cook once you've put in time and want more responsibility. The downside is the same as any prep role: standing for 12-hour shifts doing high-volume, repetitive tasks like sandwich prep can get monotonous fast, so it suits someone who's in it for the steady paycheque and camp experience more than variety.
