About the Position

🏕 Opportunity: Raglan Mine needs a construction planner for a six-month temporary stint, and it is the kind of desk job that comes with a flight north. You will plan the work that keeps a big Quebec mine running, with the crews you plan for living in the same camp as you. 🔧 The Role: You process work requests and turn them into planned jobs. You line up the resources and follow up on procurement. You build the weekly work schedules. You keep the maintenance data tidy: bills of materials, maintenance plans and standard job tasks. You check that planned work fits the site's maintenance strategies and standards. You are also the go-between for internal and external clients. 🍁 CanadaCampJobs Take: This is a 14/14 rotation with 11-hour working days, so expect long days on site, then two full weeks at home. Raglan runs its own flights from Montreal, Quebec City, Rouyn-Noranda, Mont-Joli and Inuit communities, which makes the commute simpler than most fly-in jobs. The camp is a big housing complex with single rooms, private bathrooms, a gym and meals. Note it is a temporary 6-month position, and the posting closes October 31, 2026. A good way into Raglan if you want to see the site from the inside. ✅ Best Fit: Ideal for workers who... - have planned or scheduled maintenance or construction work and know SAP or another CMMS - want a fly-in rotation without turning a wrench every day - are comfortable with 11-hour days on a 14/14 schedule - can work in English day to day - want a fixed 6-month contract to try Raglan out - hold a valid driver's licence Not a fit for: anyone who wants a permanent role right away or who can't be away from home for two-week blocks.

  • MS Project an asset

Benefits

  • Single room with private bathroom in the on-site accommodation complex
  • Meals provided at camp
  • Gym at the accommodation complex
