🏕 Opportunity Exploration crews need a core cutter for the Arsenault Project near Teslin, Yukon. The job pays $350 a day on a 4-weeks-on, 1-week-off rotation, with travel days paid at half the day rate plus travel expenses. It's a term / contract position with a start date of September 20, 2026, so it's an immediate-start role. 🔧 The Role - Operate core cutting and sampling equipment - Cut and split diamond drill core - Prepare and label samples for lab shipment - Keep sample records and do basic equipment maintenance - Follow safety and environmental policies 🍁 CanadaCampJobs Take Core cutting is the quiet backbone of any exploration program: the drillers pull the core, but the geologists can't do anything until you've cut and bagged it. A 4-and-1 rotation means long stretches on the project with only a short break, which suits people who like to work hard and bank money fast. A good fit for people with exploration experience who want Yukon work and don't mind remote conditions. ✅ Best Fit - Experienced core cutters or core-shack workers from exploration programs - People comfortable with remote camp conditions and working independently - Workers who can reach Teslin by their own vehicle or fly into Whitehorse within a day - Anyone who prefers a long on-stretch with a short break - Not a fit for: people with no exploration or core-processing background
