Opportunity This is a 3rd Cook position aboard the MV Isabelle floatel out of Squamish, BC, on contract from September 25, 2026 to January 30, 2027. Duties cover food prep from standard recipes, proper food handling, and keeping the kitchen and stations clean and sanitized. Three positions are open. Canada Camp Jobs Analysis 3rd Cook is an entry-level line position — a year of food service or prep experience is enough to get in the door. It's a union job under UNITE HERE! Local 40, worth knowing going in since it shapes your wages and working conditions differently than a non-union camp role. Onboard perks are solid: full meals, WiFi, gym access, and 10 paid holiday days or the cash equivalent. It's still kitchen prep work — lifting, bending, standing and walking through a full shift — so it's physical, repetitive work more than a stepping-stone role, but it's a fine way to build marine camp experience.
